Turn cooking mode on

Step 1

Preheat oven to 170°C fan-forced.

Step 2

Line a 20 x 20 cm baking tin.

Step 3

Whisk eggs, almond butter, maple syrup and vanilla until smooth. Stir through grated apple.

1/4 cup Maple syrup

1 tsp Vanilla extract

2 medium Apple

Step 4

Add all dry ingredients and mix until combined. Fold through diced apple.

2 tbsp Ground flaxseed

2 tsp Cinnamon

1 tsp Nutmeg

1 tsp Baking powder

1 pinch Sea salt

1/2 Apple

Spread into the tin and top with sliced apple.

Bake for 35–40 minutes until golden and a skewer comes out clean.

Cool completely before slicing, then sift the cinnamon across the top.
